“I resent the fact that Ysgramor is hailed as a hero. While it is true that the Snow Elves had exterminated all of the Nords living in Skyrim before the Night of Tears (excluding him and his two sons) many seem to forget that the Nords of Sarthal were also in possession of The Eye of Magnus, and furthermore, were very secretive about it. The actions of the Snow Elves cannot be excused, but the fact that Ysgramor enacted genocide against their race cannot be ignored either, but so often is. That, on top of the accounts of Ysgrammor’s men continuing their genocidal campaign into other parts of Tamriel, enslaving the surviving Snow Elves, and killing women and children who were simply trying to surrender, makes me all the more angry that they are all worshiped as near demi-gods.
All-in-all, I kind of wish I didn’t know about any of this. It ruins a lot of quests for me.”
Yeah, the same happens with me.
I was almost angry when he was the one to greet me in Sovngarde.
I feel the same way about the people to drive out the Ayleids.
And I suppose the Left-Handed Elves, but nobody really knows that much about them, or how the redguards killed(?) them all. I imagine that they would be the same bland old cruel/ slave owning things that the Falmer and Aylieds were said to be, but I hope if they ever tell us more that they end up being the ones that were slaves :o
That would be a nice twist, with them having a little failed rebellion or something.
Or maybe they did have a nice juicy story that I never heard???
Opps did I just ramble.
